And some more

and-some-more

Ben shared a quick underwater segment of the small black marlin that was hanging around his boat while they fought a sailfish in the Gulf last week. This little fella is surely more familiar with the waters on Eastern side of Cape York?

Also, Craig gave me a bit more of an update on the NSW marlin bite off Ulladulla: Craig says its quietened right down except off the Brush Island, which is halfway between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay. Capt. Ian “Wobbles” Ford on Hot Shot and Paul Blacka’s Mr Hooker have released 9 fish each for 3 days fishing in this area in 100 odd fathoms. On Dadsboat, Craig fished Good Friday for 3 bites and no tags (son Jakob got a little excited on the strike!) with one bite was to a shark the others to striped marlin.  Wide of Jervis Bay, Matt Wall on Double D has had two days cubing for yellowfin catching fish up to 30kg each day. He has been the only boat really cubing so far this year.  Thanks Craig for the update!
