What is RSS?

RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’ – it is a ‘news feed’ for a website that allows readers to subscribe to updates. Instead of being delivered to your email inbox, it is delivered to your RSS Reader every time the website updates. If you follow a bunch of different fishing website daily, you may find it easier to subscribe to them all via your RSS Reader, and be notified of updates all in one place of any updates, instead of having to travel from website to website to see if something is new.

There are many free RSS Reader options – like on this google search. (I use Vienna for Mac for desktop and Feedly.com in my browser.)
