Capt. Darren “Biggles” Haydon is a veteran of 34 heavy tackle seasons on the Great Barrier Reef. He started his career on deck and spent 8 years crewing for Laurie Woodbridge, Dennis (Brazakka) Wallace, and Frank Thompson.
As captain he has put his clients onto 9 world billfish records, 8 of which are still current (2022) and has weighed 8 marlin over 1000 pound as captain with the biggest being 1260 on the brand new Adventum in its first season in 2018.
