Despite the rough weather, a casual Mackerel fish for a Corporate Charter at the Palm Island group produced one very nice Sailfish for Angler Bruce. And Capt. Jim got him completely drenched at the back of the boat in the weather. So much so, we soon headed inside Northeast Bay for a relax, dry out and picnic lunch. And also while trolling in the calmer waters inside Palm Island Angler Karen scored this nice 25lb Spanish Mackerel which was more than enough to feed us all last night.Shaka, fishing further north at Otter Reef, released one marlin from 4 on Day 1 and one marlin from 2 on Day 2. Day 3 saw the weather too rough for them to bother with the fishing at all. Unfortunately, today doesn’t appear any better!
