In addition to the blues, reports of more little(r) blacks making their way to the GC. Leigh Holtsbaum fished a few days this week in his tinnie and on the 40′ Riv DIOnYSIS for dollies, wahoo and a 100kg black and then two more blacks 25 and 70kg on Friday.

And a more unusual ‘almost’ grand slam on the Gold Coast as well on Ryan Goding new US import Mojo putting fish on the board on its first Goldy trips.  After a quiet day Saturday heavy tackle they decided to fish light tackle on Sunday and scored a black marlin, a double header of sailfish (a bit more unusual for the Gold Coast!) and fought a striped marlin on 8kg but an engine issue saw the fish (and the slam) lost after almost an hours fight!
