A few more marlin showing up in the north though it still is pretty slim pickings for the larger fleet. Capt. Tim Richardson’s Tradition released one in the 450lb range while Capt. Haydon Bell’s Kanahoee did the same nearby. Capt. Tim Dean’s Calypso is getting into a habit now releasing another blue marlin this time on the edge while Capt. Luke Fallon’s KEKOA also released one about 350lbs for Col after an energetic display (photo).

Wind is up from today so we’ll be interested to hear what effect it has.

Gold Coast

Report from Leigh Holtsbaum who has upgraded from the tinnie and purchased a 26ft Albemarle Sea Eagle. On their first run out wide the other day they christened the boat in style with two big Yellowfin Tuna from a triple hookup and missed a nice Blue Marlin as well fishing the same area as Mufasa. How’s these for some great tuna pics!
