Some fantastic numbers all the way around yesterday.

Photo at top of a fish the KEKOA’s Capt. Luke Fallon put at 1100lbs for Philip from NY. Phil’s second big fish in as many days and he’s putting his PEI tuna practice into good use! The fight time was over and hour and she took us out to sea in hot chase.

Capt. Daniel Klein’s having a “sick trip” with his guys on board Onsite.  They are on the final day of 5 days fishing today and stats so far are as follows.  Day 1 a 200 and a 600lb-er, Day 2 950lb, 300lb and 200lbs, Day 3 800lbs and 80lbs, Day 4 (yesterday) 300lb-er.

Capt. Ross Finlayson’s Top Shot is in Cooktown on changeover after finishing up his trip with 14 fish in the 7 days including the two big ones.  Stephenie Osgood-Choate joins him for his next trip so we look forward to hearing how she goes!

And Capt. Adam Jordan’s Iona 2 was enjoying Island views overnight with a 400lb-er yesterday and the early mark in at 2:30pm!

Gold Coast

The Gold Coast clubbies will the cursing the weather gods that has forced the postponement on this weekend’s shootout to later this month with the good fishing continuing yesterday.  Ryan Goding’s Mojo went 6-5-3 blue marlin yesterday. Ryan says that 5 of the bites were in just the 2 hours!

Some boats might still get out today so look forward to hearing how they go.

Montebello Islands

Blue Lightning Charters’ Capt. Chad Mills broke his own record yesterday with a fantastic day on the sails at his home away from home at the Montebello Islands. They went 39 from 55 sails in a single day yesterday! Crazy good fishing!
