The 2018 comp held yesterday saw 28 babes with 2 juniors crewed the 10 boats which headed to sea to do battle with some billfish.

By all accounts most boats raised marlin but getting them to stick was another matter.

The overall stats were – 36 strikes, 23 hookups, 10 fish tagged or captured comprising of 6 black marlin and 1 sailfish (tagged) with 3 weighable mahi mahi.

Sea conditions were great as the teams dressed up their boats for the sail past and shotgun start.
