The Montebello Islands are still firing for the team on board Capt. Chad Mills’ Blue Lightning with some more great billfishing this week.  Leah reports they released 11 sailfish and 1 black marlin on Wednesday.  She said it was quite crazy crazy on the deck for a while there with the anglers catching wahoo, tuna and Spanish mackerel on stickbaits one minute and the next catching sailfish. A few sailfish were caught on the stickbaits!

In their last 7 days of dedicated billfishing and a couple more not billfishing has resulted in 77 sailfish and 1 black marlin!
