The day after the Lizard Island tournament/the Halloween Party at Lizard is typically a day of rest or rather a day of restocking and replenishing the body and the boat. Many of the fleet who fished the tournament headed back to Cooktown, others are leaving the island today. Therefore, there are not too many reports of fishing on Friday. KEKOA headed down Number 10 Ribbon and finished with 3 for the day, two smaller fish and one at 750lb – making the rougher weather worth it.

More boats head back out today and so reporting will go back to normal this week.

On the Gold Coast again, Vince tells me that also Barco made the most of the fine weather they have been having down there to head out yesterday going one from one blue marlin at 300lbs east of Jims. Good to hear!
