Fraser juvie bite continues

David “Tagpole” McMaster’s Pole Dancer braved a smaller weather window to fish the light tackle grounds off Fraser Sunday/Monday. Tagpole reports that while Sunday was reminiscent of the standard Cape Bowling Green 20knots, the weather eased Monday and the fishing improved in the better weather as well. 4 from 5 on Sunday and 14 from 17 Monday with the early mark back into port. Tagpole reports they had 4 double headers over the two days with three on Monday catching 5 of the 6 fish.  Once again all the fish on the 4kg tackle.

I’ve had quite a few ask me about the juvies at Fraser and whether its typical for this time of year so I found another report in the archives that answers that question. EOY 2015 and the Sunny Coast GF clubbies having great results again before it was really put on the map :D

Sunshine Coast boats also had some success on the home grounds in the sloppy conditions Sunday. Craig McCulloch’s Reel Capture got two nicer model blacks while MGFC’s Ymer released a sail. Robert Smith also found a few blacks and sails Thursday as well.
