This morning we were back with Pericope live video this time with an interview with Capt. Tom Francis on Ultimate Lady pre-2015 marlin season in Cairns. Ultimate Lady, which we fondly refer to as ‘the big blue boat’…because it’s a big, blue, boat.. has been exploring the pacific for many years and returned to fish Cairns again in 2014 for what was one of the best marlin seasons in years. They have just arrived back in Cairns for season 2015 over the weekend.

Cairns Season 2015 Underway
And a few more fish have been reported as some of the fleet begin their 2015 seasons.
Capt. Chris “Sharky” Miles on Levante released a smaller model about 150lbs on Tuesday while some members of the Port Hacking GFC – – Will Ellems, Chris Weinholt and Darrell Mann – were on board with Capt. Bill Billson’s Viking yesterday for two fish at 250 and 200 at Linden Bank yesterday.
It’s starting!!

The Ultimite lady, captain Tom and crew are amazing! We had the best time last season catching huge marlin, crusing the GBR and drinking beer ! I cooked some mud crabs and NZ lamb in the coolest galley and that’s my fish on that line in the picture by the way! Haha ya! Best of luck this Season to all the fisherman out there in Oz.
